NAEYC ACCREDITATION

The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is the nation’s leading organization of early childhood professionals. Their accreditation system sets standards for early childhood education based on the latest research and best practices. This accreditation helps families identify high quality preschools, and childcare centers.

To earn NAEYC Accreditation, our program is assessed against ten NAEYC Early Childhood Program Standards and 400 related criteria, supplemented by visits from NAEYC Assessors. During the five-year accreditation period, we are subject to unannounced visits from Assessors, and submit annual reports, reviewing our performance against the Program Standards.

Children’s Corner has been continuously accredited since 1999. Only around 8 percent of preschools and other early childhood programs attain NAEYC accreditation.

We are proud to have earned this mark of quality, and to be recognized for our high professional standards. NAEYC Accreditation shows families in our community that children in our program are getting the best care and early learning experiences.
